Widespread Weekend
Randomness:
All three concerts were magnificent (and I was only altered for one of them, but boy, was that ever fabu.) Widespread Panic is wonderful, and if you ever have a chance to see a concert at The Gorge, WA, you must go. And camp there, it's beautiful. (Sidenote: Prolly better to do this at a hippie show than, say, Snoop Dogg.)
Met amazing nice people, (Jessica and Billy, kids, we gotta do the band), ate my head off, drank surprisingly little, was irritated at Manwich when he was drunk and obnoxious more than I thought I'd be, and gave up on quitting smoking for at least one more weekend. (Ciggies, that is, not green. Still sneakily NOT smoking green. No one has noticed.) Am quite sunburnt. My own fault, had to boast about how great my skin is, it never tans or burns...Heh.
Doing Manwich's dishes, as they haven't been done since I was out last time, and am stranded here in Oregon until tonight. Got some laundry going as well. Occasional thought that whatever I might've been in the past, I fucking rock as a girlfriend now. Or at least am a half-way passable housekeeper.
Talked with Manwich Thursday about things. He feels as though he was hasty to bring out the "L" word, as he is a weenie asterisk and doesn't deserve me.
Well, no, he didn't really say all of that, except for the first part. But your mind just sort of adds that second part, anyway, doesn't it?
So the good news is my breakdown wasn't for nothing!!!
No, seriously, went to the doc last week, my hormones are being pretty much like speed freaks and that's why I've had such an emotional rollercoaster lateley. But have switched BC and hopefully this new one will not only offer protection, but stabilize hormones, clear skin, and make an excellent french fry as well. I'd be okay with some weight loss as well, but that wasn't listed in the side effects. But you never know...?
